4.5.1 Fill levels for pressure cooking (optional)
When pressure cooking food, always make sure to fill the pan with the amount of water specified in the min. fill
level / pan [l] column. The measurement in the max. fill level / pan [l] column applies when filling the pan with
water, liquid food or solid food in a cooking liquid.

4.7 Opening and shutting the pan lid
CAUTION
Pan lid can only be opened or shut using jerking movements
Mechanically defective pan lids can cause injury.
1. Open the pan lid fully and do not close it again.
2. Contact your RATIONAL Service Partner.
NOTE
Closing the pan lid when the pan is in a tilted position can damage the pan lid or the pan lid seal.
Damaged parts must be replaced.
1. Do not close the pan lid until the pan has been fully lowered.
