18-20 REAR SUSPENSION
BEARING REPLACEMENT
• Remove the collars, spacers and dust seals. (!18-18)
• Remove the needle roller bearings.
Cushion rod bearing
(One side 32 pieces of needle roller bearing)
Cushion lever bearing
a (33 pieces of needle roller bearing)
b (One side 32 pieces of needle roller bearing)
c (One side 32 pieces of needle roller bearing)
• Remove the needle roller bearing cages with the special tool.
" 09921-20240: Bearing remover set (Remover 20 mm)
• Press fit the new needle roller bearing cages with the special
tool and a suitable size socket wrench.
" 09924-84521: Bearing installer
NOTE:
* When installing the needle roller bearing cages
1 and
2, the
stamped mark on the bearing must face outside. (
3: right side)
* Position the needle roller bearing cages by referring to the
illustration of page 18-22.
• Apply grease to the needle roller bearings and install them.
% 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A”
(or equivalent grease)
