Engine oil

If engine oil gets on your skin, it
can irritate the skin and cause a
skin condition. Make sure to clean
your skin with soap and water or
hand cleaner thoroughly.

CAUTION
Do not add engine oil over the up-
per limit level.
Check the engine oil before start-
ing the engine or at least in 5 min-
utes after the engine is stopped.
When trying to use new oil from a
different manufacturer or oil with
different viscosity, drain used oil
completely before adding new oil.

NOTE
(2) Changing
Unscrew the drain plug on the
lower section of the engine to
drain contaminated engine oil.
Since hot oil ows out of the en-
gine first, be careful not to get
burnt.
After draining oil, tighten the en-
gine oil drain plug.
Add the specied amount of the
specied engine oil through the
ller hole.
* There is one engine oil drain hole
on each side of the engine.

Change oil with API classification
grade cJ4 When changing engine
oil, replace the filter cartridge as
well.
CHECKING AND CHANGING
TRANSMISSION FLUID
(1) Inspection
Perform inspection while the engine
is stopped.

Pull out the dipstick, wipe its tip
and insert it again. Then, pull it out
and check that the oil level is be-
tween the upper and lower limits.

If the level is below the lower
limit, add uid.
