Towing the Boat
Only tow the boat in an emergency situation, to get
help or reach a harbor. Do not tow as a way to transport
the boat.
Always trim up all drives before towing. If the boat must
be towed long distances, the propellers have to be
removed.
All towing must be done in low speeds, at max. 10
knots (11.5 mile/h).
One driveline stopped
To avoid permanent damage to the drive, trim the drive
that has stopped to its maximum position.
Press TRIM ASSIST (1) for 5 seconds to enter
Individual Powertrim Mode, green light will start
flashing.
To trim up the drive, use the trim buttons (2) on the back
of the control. Press TRIM ASSIST again to exit.
Starting Using Auxiliary
Batteries
WARNING!
Explosion hazard. Batteries contain and give off an
explosive gas which is highly flammable and explosive.
A short circuit, open flame or spark could cause a
violent explosion. Ventilate well.
WARNING!
Never confuse the positive and negative poles on the
batteries. Risk of arcing and explosion.
1 Check that the auxiliary battery has the same
voltage as the engine system voltage.
2 Connect the red positive cable to the plus (+)
terminal on the discharged battery and then to the
plus terminal on the auxiliary battery.
