Swim platform Interface
If your boat has a movable swim platform, a swim
platform interface may be part of the EVC system. The
interface prevents contact between the swim platform
and the drive.
NOTICE! Contact between the drive and the platform
could cause significant damage to both components.
To operate the swim platform with the interface;
All drivelines need to be ignition ON
Engines can not be running
Drives must be centered (±8°)
Drives can not be trimmed up past 7°
The interface also prevents engine start or drive
trimming if the swim platform is in a position that could
contact the drives.
If for safety reasons, you must start the engine or trim
the drive when the swim platform is lowered, the
function can be temporarily overridden. However be
aware of the potential risks stated above.
For override, press the start/stop button or the trim
button, release the button and then press again for at
least 5 seconds. It is then possible to start the engine or
trim the drive. Any error codes must be acknowledged
for the override to occur.
The interface never stops an engine that is running,
e.g. due to a failure of the switch/sensor.
