Joystick Inboard calibration
Calibration to set balance between the thrust force
corresponding to propeller and rudder.
Calibration is carried out in two steps, minimum and
maximum thruster mode.
1. Move control to
neutral.
2. Turn on the ignition.
Start the engines.
3. For Glass Cockpit:
Make sure the
Tachometer and
Rudder angle are
shown in the display.
4. Press and hold
the DOCKING
button on the
Joystick. Hold for 5
second.
NOTICE! If only one of
the two steps is to be
adjusted, both steps
must still be confirmed.
5. Buzzer and light
confirm start of
calibration.
6. Step 1: Set
minimum thrust
force. (Determine the
ratio between the
thruster and minimum
engine force.)
(7). Confirm the
previous setting by
leaving the Joystick
centered and push
DOCKING.
8.
NOTICE! Keep Joystick in its
outermost side position until
confirmation in step 11.
9. Compensate boat movements with the
Joystick by rotating knob and moving it forward-
backward.
10. The boat must move straight abeam.
