Operation
3.11 Upper carriage lock
Lock the upper carriage when transporting the machine!
Accident hazard!
The upper carriage cannot be locked properly if it is not correctly aligned with
the travel gear.
Never try to rotate the upper carriage when it is locked!
The upper carriage lock prevents the upper carriage from rotating when driving the
machine over longer distances, or locks the upper carriage during transport.
Unlocking the upper carriage
☞ Align the upper carriage with the travel gear.
☞ Raise lever 2 and put it in position A
Locking the upper carriage
☞ Position the upper carriage straight ahead
➥ Upper carriage and travel gear aligned correctly
☞ Raise lever 2 and put it in position B
3.12 Parking the machine
Always park the machine on firm ground.
Accident hazard
☞ Lower the boom and the stabilizer blade to the ground
☞ Park the machine on level ground
☞ Secure the tracks accordingly (for example chocks)
☞ Stopping the machine
☞ Lower the bucket and the stabilizer blade to the ground
☞ Reduce engine speed completely.
☞ Disengage the starter.
☞ Raise the control lever base
