12 Volt Battery (Removal)
NOTICE: Before carrying out any work on the
electrical system, remove the key from the key
switch.
Tools Required (includes tools required for
parent jobs):
• T25
• T30
• 2mm hex wrench
• 3/16” standard screwdriver
• 10mm socket and ratchet
Removal
1. PERFORM LOCKOUT PROCEDURE: See
Lockout Procedure, page 10.1.
2. Remove rider’s seat. See Rider’s Seat,
page 60.1.
3. Remove screw securing fuse cover.
Tool: 2mm hex. Torque: Hand tight.
4. High voltage fuses.
5. Insert screwdriver into fuse cap, push inward,
and turn counterclockwise to release high
voltage DC/DC (DCDC) converter fuse.
6. Remove high voltage DC/DC (DCDC)
converter fuse.
7. Insert screwdriver into fuse cap, push inward,
and turn counterclockwise to release high
voltage contactor (CONT) fuse.
