12 Volt Harness [22MY Onwards]
CAUTION: Always perform the High Voltage
Discharging procedure prior to servicing any
High Voltage component or connection. Proper
procedures must be followed! To protect
electrical components, perform the following
tasks in the order given. Do not deviate from the
repair procedure processes.
NOTICE: Before carrying out any work on the
electrical system, remove the key from the key
switch.
Removal
1. Remove mid pack protection unit. See Mid
Pack Protection Unit [22MY Onwards],
page 20.32.
2. Remove BMU. See Battery Management Unit
(BMU) [22MY Onwards], page 20.14.
3. Remove top cover. See Power Pack,
page 20.33.
4. Remove bolt securing ground loop from
battery cell box.
5. Disconnect harness connectors (x3) from fan
and both CMU units.
6. Disconnect harness connectors (x2) from
contactor and BCB main BUS set.
7. Remove 2.5 mm Allen bolts (x3) securing fan
to battery unit. Torque 6.5 lb-in (0.75 Nm).
8. Lift fan to access harness connector.
