Connecting the UMC100-PAN LCD Panel
The UMC100-PAN LCD panel can be used for the following purposes:
• Configuration of the UMC100.3
• Control of the motor and fault reset
• Monitoring of all IO signals, motor current and maintenance counters
• Connecting a configuration laptop via USB interface
The operator panel UMC100-PAN is mainly designed for mounting it on the front panel of a motor feeder or in a switchgear cabinet.
A door mounting kit is provided for this purpose.
The UMC100-PAN can also be plugged directly on the UMC100 itself
With the mounting kit the degree of protection is IP52.
With the mounting kit and the optional protection cap the degree of protection is IP54.
The UMC100-PAN is not compatible with the UMC22-PAN and cannot be used
with the UMC22-FBP but only with UMC100.3.
The UMC100-PAN is backwards compatible with earlier versions.
In case of an replacement of the UMC with the new type it is not required to also replace the LCD panel.
