INSTRUMENTS AND INDICATORS TABLE
When the key is turned to ON “ ”, all warning lights, the dashboard lights and the segments of the three displays
come on for an instrumentation check-up and go out after three seconds.
CAUTION
Description Function
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) light
()
Only for preset vehicles. Anti-lock braking system check-up. Comes on in the event of a malfunction.
If the light comes on during normal engine operation, it means that the anti-
locking system is not operating correctly. When this is the case, stop the
engine immediately and contact an aprilia Authorised dealer.
Antitheft device (immobilizer)
light ( )
Only for preset vehicles. Blinks when the engine is off as a deterrent to prevent theft.
Indicates that the antitheft system is operating.
Engine oil pressure warning light ( ) Comes on when the ignition switch is set to " " with the engine stopped as a led test.
The warning light must go off when the engine is running.
If the light stays on or comes on during normal operation, it means that oil
pressure in the circuit is too low. Stop the engine immediately and contact
an aprilia Authorised dealer.
Side stand light ( )
Comes on when the side stand is down.
When the side stand is down, the warning light comes on and engine
starting is inhibited.
Electronic fuel injection check light
(EFI)
It comes on for about three seconds whenever the ignition switch is set to " " with the engine stopped as a
test of injection system operation. The warning light must go off when the engine is running.
If the light comes on during normal engine operation, it means that the
electronic fuel injection system is not operating correctly. When this is the
case, stop the engine immediately and contact an aprilia Authorised dealer.
Right direction indicator warning
light ()
It blinks when the right direction indicator is on.
Left direction indicator warning
light ()
It blinks when the left direction indicator is on.
Low beam light ( ) Comes on when the low beam is on.
High beam warning light ( ) Comes on when the headlight high beam is on or when you flash the high beam (PASSING ).
Fuel reserve light ( )
It comes on when the quantity of fuel left in the tank is approx. 1,5 litres.
