REMOVING THE RIGHT AND LEFT
INSPECTION COVERS
Carefully read page 39
(MAINTENANCE).
u Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
u Raise the seat.
u Release and remove the screws (1).
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the lower tabs and/or
their seats.
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts
with care to avoid scratching or
damage.
CAUTION
Upon reassembly, fit the tabs correctly
in the appropriate seats.
REMOVING THE REAR-VIEW
MIRRORS

(MAINTENANCE).
The following information applies to both
rear-view mirrors.
u Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
NOTE Collect the left mirror
components separately from the right
mirror components.
u Slip off the rubber gaiter (1) and unscrew
the two retaining screws (2).
u Remove the protective cover (3).
CAUTION
Hold the rear-view mirror (4), to prevent
it from accidentally falling down.
CAUTION
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts
with care to avoid scratching or
damage.
u Remove the two screws (5).
u Remove the rear-view mirror (4).
