REMOVING THE FRONT COVER
Carefully read page 39
(MAINTENANCE).
u Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
u Release and remove the two screws (6).
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tabs and/or their
seats.
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts
with care to avoid scratching or
damage.
u Unscrew and remove the two screws (7).
u Unscrew and remove the two screws (8).
CAUTION
Pay attention to the fixing tab clips.
They might come loose during removal.
u Pull the front cover (9) gently to remove.
CAUTION
Ensure that the tabs with the clips
locate correctly into their seats on
refitting.

u Remove the rear-view mirrors, see page

MIRRORS).
u Remove the front cover, see page 58

u Release and remove the two screws (1)
securing the windshield to the vehicle.
u Remove the windshield (2).
