VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE
HEADLIGHT BEAM
For a quick beam inspection, place the
vehicle on level ground, ten metres away
from a vertical wall.
Switch on the low beam, sit astride the
vehicle and make sure that the light spot
on the wall is just below the horizontal line
of the headlight (about nine/tenths of
overall height).
To adjust the headlight beam:
u Open the glove compartment (1) and
release the side stop rods moderately
pressing down.
u Remove the right and left protective
covers by pressing on the upper locking
tab.
u Turn the lower adjuster screws (2) of
both headlamp bulbs with a screwdriver
or an 8mm wrench to adjust as follows:
turn CLOCKWISE to lower the beam.
Turn ANTICLOCKWISE to raise the
beam.
HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT OF
THE HEADLIGHT BEAM
u Open the glove compartment (1) and
release the side stop rods moderately
pressing down.
u Remove the right and left protective
covers by pressing on the upper locking
tab.
To adjust the headlight beam:
u Turn the upper adjuster screws (2) of
both headlamp bulbs with a screwdriver
or an 8mm wrench.
Turn CLOCKWISE and the beam will
move to the LEFT (when viewed in the
direction of travel).
Turn ANTICLOCKWISE and the beam
will move to the RIGHT (when viewed in
the direction of travel).
