Fuses
Removing fuse
The fuses are located under the
fairing side panel at the front
right.
ATTENTION
Bypassing defective fuses.
Risk of short circuit and fire.
Replace defective fuses with
new fuses.
Switch off ignition.
Removing fairing side panel
( 110).
Pull defective fuse out of fuse
box 1 or out of fuse holder 2
with tool from onboard toolkit.
To open the fuse box, press
the locking levers 3 together
and remove the cover.
NOTICE
If the fuses blow frequently, have
the electrical system checked by
an authorized specialized work-
shop, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad retailer.
Installing fuse
Replace each defective fuse
from the fuse box with a fuse
of the correct amperage rating.
Close the cover.
Locking device audibly en-
gages.
