Service display
If service is due within a month,
the service date 1 is displayed.
If service is due within 700 miles,
the remaining distance 2 is dis-
played and is counted down in
steps of 100 miles. It is briefly
displayed following the Pre-Ride-
Check.
When a service date
elapses without service,
the general warning light
lights up in yellow, appearing
together with the date and
mileage (kilometerage) display.
The SERVICE message is
displayed continuously.
NOTICE
If the service display appears
more than a month before the
service date, the current day's
date must be reset in the in-
strument cluster. This situa-
tion can occur if the battery was
disconnected.
Distance traveled since
fuel reached reserve
level
The distance traveled 1 since
reaching the fuel reserve is dis-
played by the symbol 2. This
distance recorder is reset and no
longer displayed once the fuel re-
serve quantity is exceeded.
Outside temperature
When the outside temper-
ature drops below 37 °F
(3 °C) the temperature display
responds by flashing a warning
indicating possible ice formation
