ASC error
ASC warning light lights up.
Possible cause:
The ASC control unit has de-
tected an error.
It remains possible to continue
riding. It must be noted that
the ASC function is not avail-
able. You should also take ac-
count of the additional informa-
tion on situations that can lead
to an ASC fault ( 80).
Have the malfunction corrected
as soon as possible at an
authorized service facility,
preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad Retailer.
ASC calibration not yet
completed
ASC warning light lights up.
CAL. flashes.
Possible cause:
The ASC calibration is not yet
completed
Finish or repeat ASC
calibration.
Calibrating ASC ( 52).
Canceling ASC calibration:
Switch the ignition on and off.
Taillight defective
General warning light lights
up yellow.
+ LAMP! is displayed.
WARNING
Overlooking the motorcy-
cle in traffic due to the light
source on the motorcycle
failing.
Safety risk
Replace defective bulbs as
soon as possible; it is best
always to carry a complete
set of spare bulbs on the
motorcycle.
Possible cause:
Light source for combined tail-
light and brake light defective.
The diode taillight must be re-
placed. Please contact a spe-
cialist service facility, preferably
an authorized BMW Motorrad
Retailer.
Headlight bulb defective
General warning light lights
up yellow.
+ LAMP! is displayed.
WARNING
Overlooking the motorcy-
cle in traffic due to the light
source on the motorcycle
failing.
