ctrlX SAFETY "SafeMotion"
Diagnostic system
Bosch Rexroth AG
R911404905,
Edition 02
During the commissioning procedure, the user has to check that the mechan-
ical elements have been correctly parameterized. The wrong parameterization
causes incorrect position and velocity values.
7.3.3 Notes on commissioning
Automatically applying the scaling
Since the scaling of "SafeMotion" and of the standard drive are to be consis-
tent, the standard scaling parameters can be applied from the drive to "SafeMo-
tion" to simplify the commissioning procedure.
To apply the standard scaling parameters to the scaling parameters of "SafeMo-
tion", start the command C8000 (P‑0‑3220).
Requirements for applying the scaling
The standard scaling parameters to be applied have to be valid (data status),
otherwise the procedure for applying the standard scaling parameters to
the scaling parameters of "SafeMotion" is aborted and the command error
C8001 is generated.
The drive has to be in the configuration mode (CM) and the safety tech-
nology password has to be set (P-0-3230.0.1), otherwise the procedure for
applying the standard scaling parameters to the scaling parameters of "Safe-
Motion" is aborted and the command error C8002 is generated.
Plausibility check when exiting the configuration
The command C8200 SMO: Terminate configuration mode (P-0-3231.0.2) con-
trols switching from the configuration mode (CM) to the parameterization
mode (PM). For the scaling, a validation check comparing the scaling types
is performed, otherwise switching is aborted and the command error C8214 is
generated.
7.4 Diagnostic system
7.4.1
Introduction
The general diagnostic system of ctrlX DRIVE is explained in detail in the firm-
ware application manual.
The following parameters are used in conjunction with the diagnostic system:
S‑0‑0095, Diagnostics
S‑0‑0375, Diagnostic numbers list
S-0-0390, Diagnostic message number
S-0-0390.0.136, Detailed diagnostic message
S-0-1303.0.10, Diagnostic trace main diagnostics
S-0-1303.0.11, Diagnostic trace system time
S-0-1303.0.12, Diagnostic trace detailed diagnostics
Axis or device configuration
A drive controller consists of multiple components (power section, control
section, firmware,...). Each of them has its own identifier in the form of a
parameter.
Identifiers useful for the purpose of diagnostics and service are stored in the
following parameters:
S‑0‑0140, Device name
S‑0‑0141, Motor type
S‑0‑0142, Application type
P‑0‑1520, Control section type
