7.4.3 Status messages
"SafeMotion“ status parameters
The "Safe Motion“ provides several parameters to the standard firmware via
which the states of "Safe Motion" can be read. With these status parameters,
the individual status signals can be freely programmed to existing real-time bits
of the master communication or hardware I/Os or I/O extensions.
These pieces of status information are not allowed for the safety-relevant evalu-
ation!
● P‑0‑3231, SMO: Operating status: provides binary status signals for online
monitoring of the safety technology operating status of "SafeMotion".
● P‑0‑3237, SMO: Status word: provides binary status signals for online moni-
toring of the “safety technology status" of "SafeMotion".
●
P‑0‑3238, SMO: Active velocity threshold: displays the currently active moni-
toring limit of the velocity.
● P‑0‑3261, SMO: Control word state machine: provides binary control signals
for displaying the selected safety functions via digital hardware inputs (local
safe inputs), ctrlX SAFETYlink or via a Safety bus communication of the
drive.
● P‑0‑3262, SMO: Selected operating state: provides binary status signals for
displaying the selected safety technology operating status.
