CAUTION
The SERCOS fiber optics cable may not be kinked; and the bending radius
must be at least 50 mm!

8.9 NCIO Card
8.9.1 General Information
The NCIO card serves for converting the bus signals of the 9-pin Sub-D con‐
nector on the NC multifunction card to a 37-pin Sub-D female connector strip.
Here, 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs are applied. The assignment and
designation of the signals corresponds exactly to the assignment of the MIO
card of the previous controls.
The connection between NCIO card and NCM is established via the IKS0031
connecting cable, which is included in the BTV20.4A standard delivery, if the
NCIO option (...-2V-... in the type designation code) is contained.

CAUTION
Danger of short-circuits!
Plug and unplug the IKS0031 connecting cable between NCIO and NCM only
if there is no voltage at the BTV 20.4!
