Configuring GVRP Settings
GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP) is specifically provided for automatic distribution of
VLAN membership information among VLAN-aware bridges. GVRP allows VLAN-aware bridges to
automatically learn VLANs to bridge ports mapping, without having to individually configure each
bridge and register VLAN membership. To define GARP.
The Global System LAG information displays the same field information as the ports, but represent the
LAG GVRP information.
1. Click Bridging > VLAN Management > GVRP Settings. The GVRP Settings Page opens:
GVRP Settings Page
The GVRP Settings Page contains the following fields:
GVRP Global Status — Indicates if GVRP is enabled on the device. The possible field values are:
Enable — Enables GVRP on the selected device.
Disable — Disables GVRP on the selected device.
Copy from Entry Number — Indicates the row number from which GVRP parameters are copied.
To Entry Number — Indicates the row number to which GVRP parameters are copied
Port — Indicates the port number on which GVRP is enabled.
LAGs — Indicates the LAG number on which GVRP is enabled.
Of Unit — Displays the stacking member for which the GVRP parameters are displayed.
