MAC Filter
Outgoing Default
Action:
Select whether to Deny or Allow frames to ow out of the WAN
interface. The default setting is Allow.
Incoming Default
Action:
Select whether to Deny or Allow frames to flow into the WAN
interface. The default setting is Allow.
DEFAULT POLICY
CURRENT MAC FILTER TABLE
The current list of MAC lters are displayed here. To delete a lter, select it from the list and
click Delete. To delete all the lters, click Delete All.
Direction: Select whether this rule will apply to Outgoing or Incoming trac.
Action: Select whether to Deny or Allow frames.
ADD FILTER
To create a rule, ll out the following parameters.
Source MAC: Enter the source MAC address to lter.
Destination Mac: Enter the destination MAC address.
You may create a rule to apply to either a Source MAC address, Destination MAC address,
or both. Broadcast MAC addresses may not be ltered.
When you are satised with your MAC Filtering rule, click ADD.
The MAC filter is used to restrict or allow certain types of Ethernet Frames through the
gateway based on their source or destination MAC address. These filters are helpful in
securing or restricting traffic on your local network.
