Pneumatic Connections
1 Attach gas supply line and hand-tighten DISS nut.
2 Attach pressure sensing lines for flow measurement
to connector on Oxylog 2000.
3 Connect patient circuit to port on Oxylog 2000.
Electrical Supply
The Oxylog 2000 ventilator is designed for different
types of electrical supply.
Internal supply
with either rechargeable (NiCd)
or
non-rechargeable (alkaline) batteries
External supply
To recharge the NiCd battery pack and as auxiliary
supply to extend operation when using alkaline or
NiCd battery packs:
DC from an on-board supply system using a DC/DC
converter (part no. 84 12 071)
or
AC adapter (part no. 84 12 709) from 115 V AC line
voltage.
WARNING !
A fully charged NiCd battery pack or fresh
alkaline batteries must always be installed for
safety reasons, even when operating from an
external power supply!
CAUTION !
Do not pressurize the connector for differential
pressure sensing lines, the internal sensor may be
destroyed.
