Alarms
Supply press. low Alarm is activated when supply pressure drops below
approx. 2.0 bar (29.4 psi).
Paw high Adjusted with Pmax knob. Alarm is activated when set value
for Pmax is reached.
Paw low Alarm is activated when a pressure buildup >10 cmH2O is not
achieved over a time of >20 s in CMV or SIMV mode.
Leakage Alarm is activated when the expiratory tidal volume drops
below 60 % of the inspiratory tidal volume.
NOTE: The "Leakage" warning is not active in CPAP mode.
Apnea Only active in CPAP mode.
Alarm is activated if no change between inspiratory and
expiratory breathing phase was detected.
Check settings Alarm is activated when the inspiratory flow is above or below
the range of 4 to 60 L/min due to the combination
of parameters VT, Rate, I:E .
This alarm is important for the performance range of the flow valve.
It does indicate an operator error does not need to be reset
after corrections are made
Alarms Are indicated visually and acoustically.
The audible alarm stops automatically when an alarm condition
has been corrected.
The alarm message on the display must be cleared = press »g Reset«.
Self-test Is performed automatically at regular intervals during operation
and in standby mode.
Volume of the alarm tone 75 dB(A) at a distance of 1 m
