Displaying Settings and Measured Values
The ventilation mode and expiratory minute ventilation MV
are continuously shown in the top line of the display.
Specific ventilation parameters appear in the bottom line
of the display, depending on the ventilation mode set
(examples):
For CMV / Assist/Control
Inspiratory time Tinsp = 2.0 s
Inspiratory flow FLOW = 30.0 L/min
Mean pressure MEAN = 15.0 cmH2O
End-expiratory pressure PEEP = 5.0 cmH2O
Peak pressure PEAK = 20.0 cmH2O
Respiratory rate (A/C only) Frequency = 10 bpm
For SIMV
Inspiratory flow FLOW = 30.0 L/min
Mean pressure MEAN = 15.0 cmH2O
Endexpiratory pressure PEEP = 5.0 cmH2O
Peak pressure PEAK = 20.0 cmH2O
Respiratory rate Frequency = 10 bpm
Tidal volume VTexp. = 450 mL
For CPAP
Positive airway pressure CPAP = 8.0 cmH2O
Respiratory rate Frequency = 10 bpm
Tidal volume VTexp. = 450 mL
In the event of an alarm, the parameters displayed in the
bottom line will be "overwritten" by the alarm messages.
Displaying measured values:
1 Briefly press »
M
Info« key.
NOTE: An alarm message cannot be reset until its cause
has been corrected.
A message which has not been cleared will be
overwritten by a new message of higher priority.
