5 - 8 Section 5-4 - Software Description
5-4-3 Electronic media
To access and view user documentation through a Windows PC:
1.) Insert the media into the media drive.
2.) Open the media drive on your desktop.
3.) Double click on the ‘gedocumentation.html’ document.
4.) Select the item you want to view (click on the blue, underlined link in the File Name column).
5.) To close the window, click on the ‘X’ in the upper, right-hand corner of the browser window.
NOTE: If your PC does not have Adobe Reader, a free download is available on the Adobe website at
http://www.adobe.com.
5-4-4 Advanced Information - Option key structure
More than one option key may be needed to activate all options purchased.
One of the option keys contains the basic option that enables the product to startup. Depending on
which key gets entered into the license dialog, the LOGIQ Totus may start up without requesting the
other option keys.
Additional option keys need to be entered through the Utility > Admin page.
Option keys can also be imported from a text file. This can be done from either the license dialog or from
the Utility > Admin page.
The LOGIQ Totus looks for files in the following locations:
• USB drive
• D:\Service
It looks for a file that matches one of the following two names:
• OptionKeys_XXXXXX.csv Where XXXXXX is the serial number of the LOGIQ Totus
• OptionKeys.txt
If both files are available, it picks the filename with the serial number. The file is a simple text file with
one option key per line.
The option keys do contain non-alphabetic or numeric characters.
Key representation of encrypted option key: 2-9, A-H, J-N, P-Z, ?, % and & (35 signs).
