Options/Address Jumpers
The options/address jumpers on the drive (see Figure 2-2) enable you to select
options
and set a unique SCSI address for your 5.25-inch hard disk drive. The
address is
set with the rear panel SCSI address switches (refer to Figure 1-2 and
Table 1-1).
Caution
I
The options jumpers must be left in the factory-set positions.
These settings are shown in Figure 2-2. Make sure
the address
switch on
the mass storage system rear panel is set to a unique
SCSI address relative to the other devices on the SCSI bus. The
mass storage system will
not function properly if two devices
have
the same SCSI address.
