Installing
the
3.5-
inch
Hard
Disk
Drive
•
If
you are installing a drive into slot 1 or slot 3 (the front slots),
push
down
on
the
drive
and
slide
it
on
the
chassis rails toward the front of
the
mass
storage system chassis until
the
mounting tabs lock into
the
mounting slots
(see Figure 3-4 or Figure 3-6). Tighten
the
T25 bracket screw through
the
hole
in
the
front
of
the
mass storage system chassis
and
into
the
drive
bracket
.
•
If
you are installing a drive into slot 2 (the
rear
slot),
push
down
on
the
drive
and
slide
it
toward
the
rear
of
the
mass storage system chassis until
the
mounting tabs lock into
the
mounting slots (see Figure 3-5). Tighten
the
T25
bracket
screw
through
the
hole in
the
rear
of
the
mass storage system chassis
into
the
drive bracket.
