5.18 Right Mounting Ear
5.1 Precautions
l Read relevant installation procedures before installing multiple components to streamline
identical steps.
l Wait until overheating devices have cooled down before touching them to avoid injury.
l Properly ground the server before installation to avoid damage to electronic components
from electrostatic discharge.
5.2 Front Bezel (Optional)
The front bezel is installed on the front panel and comes with a security lock to prevent
unauthorized operations on drives.
5.2.1 Removing the Front Bezel
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap. For details, see 12 Preventing Electrostatic Discharge.
Step 2 Insert the key into the keyway on the front bezel, turn the key clockwise to unlock the front
bezel, and remove the key. See Figure 5-1.
NOTE
The front bezel is unlocked when delivered, and the key is in the inner side of the front bezel.
