If you can see the Wi-Fi icon ( ), the phone is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi. If
you can see , the phone is connected to the Internet via a mobile data
connection.
5.23 How to review mobile data usage?
Enter into “Settings” and select “Data usage” to review the mobile phone's
mobile data usage statistics.
5.24 Can I share my phone's mobile Internet connection via USB?
If your mobile phone supports for USB tethering, you can share your phone's mobile
Internet connection with your computer via a USB cable.
Due to differences between various computer operating systems, you may need to
install a phone driver on your computer or configure an appropriate network
connection before using this feature. Please refer to your computer's operating system
instructions for details.
Connect your mobile phone to the computer using a USB cable, enter into Settings,
select More > Mobile network sharing > USB tethering and activate the USB
tethering function.
Accessing the Internet on your computer will consume more mobile data than using
your mobile phone. Only use this function if you have a suitably large mobile data
package.
5.25 How to judge whether my phone supports for Bluetooth tethering?
Enter into Settings and select More > Mobile network sharing. Your mobile phone
supports for this tethering if the Bluetooth tethering option is available.
5.26 What is a Wi-Fi hotspot?
When the Wi-Fi hotspot function is enabled, other devices can connect to your phone
via Wi-Fi and access the Internet using your data package for free of charge.
