12.5 How to use off-line navigation?
Open navigation software and download the off-line map file. Wi-Fi is suggested during
downloading. Off-line navigation service can be used after downloading. Mobile data is not
required during off-line service, but mobile phone still needs to connect to GPS satellite, it
means the GPS switch needs to turn on and the phone needs to be placed outdoors.
12.6 What is Location Based Service(LBS)?
Location Based Services (LBS) is a value-added service provided by the combination of
mobile communication network and satellite locating system. A series of location-related
service can be provided for users by getting the location information (Latitude and
longitude coordinate data) of the mobile terminal through the positioning technology, such
as weather, navigation and shopping.
12.7 How to turn on Location Service?
Enter“Settings > Location”, turn on“Access to My Location”switch.
12.8 Does location service consume data traffic?
Generally speaking, mobile phone will consume data traffic during running location-related
apps or downloading maps after turning on location service. It is suggested for data traffic
saving to download off-line map file in advance and update it regularly through Wi-Fi
12.9 Location service is not available.
Please ensure that mobile data is turned on and check if Wi-Fi is available.
You can enter “Settings” to turn on Wi-Fi.
If the problem persists, please restart the mobile phone and try again.
12.10 Mobile phone prompts "Location Service error".
Enter “Settings>Location” to check whether options related to location service are all
turned on. If not, please turn them on. Ensure you have connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi,
otherwise the data from server cannot be received.
GPS signal will be influenced indoors or underground, pleased go outdoors and try again.
