Part 2Controlling system settings
This part contains information to help you configure or
reconfigure the hardware features and system settings
that were installed in your computer at the factory. It
contains the following chapters:
• “Chapter 2: Getting started with your Aptiva
computer” on page 11
This chapter contains instructions for making
adjustments to monitor and volume settings on your
Aptiva computer. It also provides information to help
you connect your computer to a printer or to other
computer systems, such as the Internet.
• “Chapter 3: Understanding the Rapid
Resume features” on page 21
This chapter provides instructions for finding the
Rapid Resume Manager on your Windows 95
desktop and describes each of the Rapid Resume
features.
• “Chapter 4: Viewing and changing Aptiva
configuration” on page 31
This chapter provides instructions for using the
Setup Utility, where you can view or change your
system’s configuration. It also provides information
to help you locate other configuration utilities.
