Swing and Dipper In Simultaneous
Operation (Swing Priority)
When operating the swing and dipper simultaneously as
in bank shaving or cutting operations, swing priority is
achieved by using a restrictor regardless of the amount
of dipper work pressure in the dipper circuit.
Pressurised oil from port A1 (front pump) enters port 5P
of the control valve. Pressurised oil from port A2 (rear
pump) enters port 4P of the control valve.
By selecting the swing spool and dipper spool,
pressurised oil is delivered to the swing and dipper
circuits respectively. The pressure difference in the
swing and dipper circuits caused by the swing priority
restrictor makes bank shaving and side cutting
possible.
