NPN T
ransistor
Instead of using the protection cir
cuit to cut on the
electrical power side the JS 70 system uses the NPN
transistor to control the solenoid valve on the earth side.
A short circuit would not cause the transistor to burn
out, but when there is a short cir
cuit, the solenoid valve
is on.
