Hydraulics (continued)
Changing the Breaker In-line Filter (if
fitted)
Note: This filter should be changed at the intervals stated
in Service Schedules or when the visual indicator X has
popped up. DO NOT USE THE ROCKBREAKER WITH A
BLOCKED FILTER.
1 Prepare the Machine
Position the machine on level ground. Stop the
engine. Remove the starter key.
2 Release Tank Pressure
(See Releasing Tank Pressure.)
3 Locate the Filter
4 Remove the Oil Filter
Unscrew and remove filter A from head B.
5 Fit the New Filter
Coat the seal of the new filter with clean hydraulic
fluid. Screw the new filter into head B and tighten.
6 Check (see Checking the Fluid Level) and top up
the hydraulic oil tank (see Topping-up Fluid Level).
