Manual Speed Limit Assist (MSLA)
Turn off Safe Exit Assist to install a
trailer, carrier, etc., or remove the trailer,
carrier, etc. to use Safe Exit Assist.
Limitations of Safe Exit Assist
Safe Exit Assist may not operate nor
-
mally, or the function may operate unex
-
pectedly under the following
circumstances:
僅 Driving through a narrow road where
trees or grass or overgrown
僅 Driving on a wet road surface, such as
a puddle in the road
僅 The speed of the other vehicle is very
fast or slow
For more details on the precautions of
the rear corner radars, refer to "Blind-
Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) (if
equipped)" on page 6-84.
僅 Safe Exit Assist may not operate nor
-
mally if interfered by strong electro
-
magnetic waves.
僅 Safe Exit Assist may not operate for
approximately 3 seconds after the
vehicle is started, or the rear corner
radars are initialised.

(1) Speed Limit indicator
(2) Set speed
You can set the speed limit when you do
not want to drive over a specific speed.
If you drive over the preset speed limit,
the warning system operates (set speed
limit will blink and chime will sound) until
the vehicle speed returns within the
speed limit.
