SET THE THROTTLE LEVER TO
ABOUT HALF WAY
INSERT THE KEY INTO THE KEY
SWITCH AND TURN IT “ON”.
CHECK EASY CHECKER LAMPS:
1. When the key is turned “ON”, lamps
(3), (4) should come on. If trouble
should occur at any location while the
engine is running, the warning lamp
corresponding to that location comes on.
2. Glow plug indicator (5) also comes on
when the key is turned “ON” to pre-
heat the engine and goes off automati-
cally when preheat is completed.

3. The parking brake warning lamp (6)
comes on while parking brake is ap-
plied and goes off when it is released.
