– Remove screws on foot brake cylinder .
– To adjust the basic position of the foot brake lever individually, loosen nut and turn
screw accordingly.

The range of adjustment is limited. The screw must be screwed into the footrest
bracket by at least four turns.
– Position foot brake cylinder so that the foot brake lever has the necessary free travel.
Hold screws in place and tighten the nuts.
Guideline
Nut, foot brake cylinder screw M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Check the free travel of the foot brake lever. ( p. 96)
– Tighten nut .
11.10Checking rear brake fluid level
Warning
Danger of accidents Failure of the brake system.
– If the brake fluid level falls below the MIN mark, this indicates a leakage in the brake system or worn-out brake linings. Check
the brake system and do not continue riding. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be glad to help.)
