15.6 Refitting the headlight mask with the headlight(Freeride E‑XC)

Connect plug-in connectors of turn signals

, head light

, and ignition
lock


Position the headlight mask and fix it with rubber straps


The holding lugs engage.

Position the brake line and wiring harness


Finishing work
– Install the KTM PowerPack. ( p. 96)
– Lock the seat. ( p. 63)
– Check the headlight setting. ( p. 94)
15.7 Changing the headlight bulb(Freeride E‑XC)
Note
Damage to reflector Reduced brightness.
– Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease
before mounting.
Preparatory work
– Deactivate the vehicle. ( p. 37)
– Fold the seat up. ( p. 63)
– Remove the KTM PowerPack. ( p. 96)
– Mount the covering cap. ( p. 64)
– Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 91)

Main work
–
Turn rubber cap

together with the underlying bulb socket counterclockwise all
the way and remove it.
–
Pull bulb socket

of the parking light out of the reflector.
