VACUUM CHAMBER
DISASSEMBLY
Remove the four vacuum chamber cover
screws and the cover.
Remove the spring , vacuum diaphragm and
piston.
Remove the needle holder and jet needle.
INSPECTION
Inspect the needle for stepped wear.
Inspect the vacuum piston for wear or
damage.
Inspect the diaphragm for deterioration and
tears.
Be careful not to damage the vacuu
m
diaphragm.
Don’t apply the vacuum diaphragm with
the carburetor cleaner.
