Stator Installation
Two styles of stators are used on 1994 through
1996 model 75/90 outboards. These stators can
be identified by a large rim or small rim on the un-
derside of the stator where the stator harness ex-
its the stator. These stators MUST BE
INSTALLED AS SHOWN RESPECTIVELY OR
PREMATURE STATOR FAILURE MAY OCCUR AS
A RESULT OF STATOR INTERFERANCE WITH
THE ENGINE BLOCK.
