Maintenance
Maintenance and inspection
The PGU does not have any items such as a battery which can run down or wear out, or result in a
relatively short life time.
In performing the maintenance/inspection, be extremely careful about the following points along with
the inspection
of
other equipment.
(1)
Always be sure that the inside temperature is not exceptionally high due
to
an external heating
source or direct sunlight.
(2)
Always be sure that excessive dust or conductive debris has not entered into the unit.
(3)
Always be sure that the terminals are not loose and are free from rust.

Battery
Teaching panel
The teaching panel comes equipped with a lithium battery
which can hold program and parameter data in the event
of
a power failure.
If
the data is transferred to the EEPROM cassette of the
PGU in advance, then this battery is not required.
Since the battery will be serviceable for approx.
5
years
(free guarantee period:
1
year), consult your nearest Mit-
subishi representative before this time expires.
