Audio Routing and PTT Hook
Interactions
This section provides information on the audio routing interaction on your radio.
PTT and Hook Interactions for Group Calls
The table lists the available PTT and Hook interactions for Group calls.

on hook.
If Accessories Options is ena-
bled by your service provider, au-
dio routing shall follow 'Group
Call' in #unique_388/unique_388_Con-
nect_42_table_tm2_kmy_5y.

TELCO active accessory is
placed ON hook.
If Accessories Options is enabled by
your service provider, audio routing shall
be routed through the hands-free micro-
phone on the RAC and the associated
external speaker.
An inactive handset is placed on
hook.
Audio routing shall fol-
low #unique_388/unique_388_Con-
nect_42_table_tm2_kmy_5y.
Any PTT from any handset placed on
hook.
Receiving audio shall be routed to the
external speaker associated with the
same control head as the handset and
no microphone will be opened.

The
associated external speaker state (On /
Off) shall not be changed. If the speaker
is disabled, receiving audio will not be
heard. The state of the external speaker
can be toggled On or Off at any time by
pressing the Speaker
PTT from any handset taken off
hook or from any other accessory
(independent of hook state).
Audio routing shall follow 'Group
Call' in #unique_388/unique_388_Con-
nect_42_table_tm2_kmy_5y.

For radios with Dual Control Head feature enabled only. The Key Press Token rules apply
when PTT pressed is associated with the other control head than the current active accessory
is associated with.

The associated external speaker state (On / Off) shall not be changed. If the speaker is
disabled, receiving audio will not be heard. The state of the external speaker can be toggled
On or Off at any time by pressing the Speaker On / Off button.
