SNMP Specify whether to use the SNMP monitor service. If
not using the SNMP monitor service is specified, an
SNMP manager cannot connect from an external
device.

Set the port number to use to connect to the SMTP
server that is used to connect from an SNMP man-
ager. This setting does not normally need to be
changed.

Address Set the communications device administrator name
and installation location as text information. You do not
necessarily have to input all items. This information is
read by the SNMP manager. (You can input up to 255
single-byte alphanumeric characters for each item.)

Send a recognition trap Set whether to send an authentication trap. If you
select Send a recognition trap and there is access
from an SNMP manager that is not set in Recognition
1 or Recognition 2, an authentication trap is sent to the
SNMP manager. If you select Send a recognition trap,
specify the SNMP trap settings on the SNMP Trap Tab
Page.
