6. Activating the RT‐A (HBS)/Hub
ODU
• Activating RADWIN 2000‐Plus RT-A(HBS) ODUs
• Activating RADWIN 2000 Alpha and RADWIN Alpha Connectorized Hub ODUs
• Activating RADWIN 2000 E Hub ODUs
6.1 Activating RADWIN 2000‐Plus RT-A(HBS) ODUs
1. Connect to ODU:
o From a laptop in the field, disconnect the PoE from the communications
network (LAN connection) and connect the laptop.
o From the NOC, keep the PoE connected to the LAN.
2. Log in to the RADWIN Manager application as Installer.
3. Enter the IP address of the ODU (RT‐A(HBS)).
4. In the RADWIN Manager main window, click Activate.
5. Follow the wizard instructions to activate the ODU.
6.2 Activating RADWIN 2000 Alpha and RADWIN
Alpha Connectorized Hub ODUs
1. Connect to ODU:
a. From a laptop in the field, disconnect the PoE from the communications
network (LAN connection) and connect the laptop.
b. From the NOC, keep the PoE connected to the LAN.
2. In a browser, enter the IP address of the hub ODU to be activated.
3. In the login page, enter the following credentials:
o username: admin
o password: netwireless
