Installing ESP-SMT Upgrade Panel
A
Open the door of the existing ESP-Modular cabinet.
B
Open the ESP-Modular panel by grasping the crescent
shaped nger hold on the top right side of the cabinet.
C
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the panel by gently
pulling the connector up and away from the socket.
D
Slip the front panel hinge pins out of the cabinet
sockets.
E
Re-connect the ribbon cable to the ESP-SMT
Controller panel, then slip the hinge pins back into
the cabinet sockets.
F
CAUTION: When re-assembling the connector,
observe the keyed orientation of the connector. If
correctly connected, the red line on the cable will be
on the top side.

NOTE: Be sure to remove the ESP-Modular quick
reference label that is adhered to the inside of the
controller door as this information is no longer valid
after the ESP-SMT panel upgrade is installed.
