Absolute position system
When the SINAMICS V90 servo drive uses a servo motor with an absolute encoder. the current absolute position can be
detected and transmitted to the controller. With this function of absolute position system, you can perform motion control
task immediately after the servo system is powered on, which means you do not have to carry out referencing or zero
position operation beforehand.
Restrictions
The absolute position system
cannot
be configured under the following conditions:
Internal position control (IPos)
Speed control (S)
Torque control (T)
Control change mode
Strokeless coordinate system, for example, rotary shaft, infinitely long positioning operation
Change of electronic gear after referencing
