– Now press the button on the selector lever handle and shift
the selector lever -B- in -direction of arrow 2- out of the
position P.
If the selector lever is then shifted again into the position “P”, it
is locked again in position “P”.

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Release tool -T30098-
– Fit the release tool -T30098- under the cover for shift mech‐
anism and carefully lift it in -direction of arrow-.
– Depress the brake pedal or pull on the handbrake.
– Raise cover for shift mechanism upwards.
– Press the yellow plastic wedge in -direction of arrow- and
hold in this position.
