This workshop procedure only applies to vehicles that are
factory-equipped with a ZF gearshift mechanism and on
which the microswitch for the selector lever has been retrofit‐
ted in accordance with TPI 2056031.
♦
The ZF switch actuation can be recognised by a yellow plas‐
tic button for the emergency release of the selector lever
from the P position -arrow-.
