NOTICE
There is a risk of damage to the mechatronics for double
clutch gearbox -J743-.
In the event of oil loss from mechatronics, the correct oil level
can only be adjusted by changing the oil.
The oil level cannot be checked.
An insufficient amount of hydraulic oil and overfilling affect the
function of the mechatronics, this can lead to malfunctions.
– Carry out oil-tight sealing of the mechatronics ⇒ page 225 .
This avoids unwanted loss of oil when installing the mechatron‐
ics.

Note
Replace bolts/nuts that are tightened at an angle of rotation, as
well as replacement components after removal.

This workflow is only used for mechatronic repairs that are
described in TPI 2066030 or TPI 2063136 and in which the
hydraulic oil is drained and filled on the installed mechatron‐
ic. The oil is drained through the lower drain hole.

The mechatronic repairs described in this workshop manual
are carried out on the dismantled mechatronic. With these
repairs, the oil is drained from the mechatronics via the up‐
per drain plug after the mechatronics have been removed.
